Hm… Well, they really liked The External World and that’s why they gave it the Young Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Gijón International Film Festival.
The External World does Switzerland.
“The Grand Prize of the International Short Film Festival Winterthur 2010 goes to the Irish filmmaker David OReilly for his animation THE EXTERNAL WORLD. The jury motivates its choice with the film’s ability to mix beloved classics with modern junk using a special kind of sarcastic and absurd humour.”
“The External World” wins an award for Best Experimental Film at the Curtacinema 2010 in Rio de Janeiro! Also it got a special mention from the youth jury.
Congratulations David.
